**Job Summary:** We are seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our esteemed healthcare team. The AP RN will be responsible for providing primary care to patients, including conducting health assessments, diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, and developing treatment plans. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and experienced nurse to join a teaching hospital environment. **Responsibilities:** – Conduct comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat patients with a range of medical conditions – Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with patients and their families – Provide primary care services, including preventive and acute care – Utilize medical terminology and ICD-9 codes to accurately document patient data – Administer IV infusions and medications as needed – Provide education and support to patients with developmental disabilities – Perform gastric lavage procedures as necessary – Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and other advanced practice nurses – Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices – Participate in utilization management and ensure that medical services are provided in a cost-effective manner – Provide infant care and pediatric services – Develop and teach educational programs for patients and healthcare professionals – Maintain accurate and timely patient records **Skills:** – Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities – Strong understanding of medical terminology and ICD-9 codes – Proficiency in IV infusion and gastric lavage procedures – Experience working in an outpatient setting – Ability to utilize utilization management techniques to ensure cost-effective care – Experience working in a teaching hospital environment – Strong communication and interpersonal skills – Ability to provide education and support to patients and their families – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals – Strong knowledge of pediatric and infant care practices – Certification as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse – A Master’s degree in nursing or a related field – Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the state of [state] – Current certification in a relevant specialty, such as pediatrics or gerontology Job Type: Full-time Pay: $98,500.00 – $110,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Medical Specialty: Pediatrics Work Location: In person
