Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) – Naples, Florida Ready to join a multi-specialty physician practice whose services profoundly impact the lives of the Naples community? Meliora Healthcare is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) who will perform advanced clinical skills and duties beyond the scope of a Registered Nurse, including diagnosing and treating illnesses, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing patient education and counseling. The Position Meliora Healthcare is looking for motivated individuals who/to: Diagnose and treat common acute and chronic illnesses and conditions Prescribe medications, treatments, and therapies within their scope of practice Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, X-rays, and MRIs Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including monitoring and adjusting treatments as necessary Provide patient education and counseling on health promotion, disease prevention, and management of chronic conditions Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care Conduct physical exams and obtain medical histories Manage patient care, including referrals to specialists and coordination ofservices Maintain accurate and complete medical records Stay up-to-date on the latest research, technology, and medical treatments intheir specialty area Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education to maintain licensure and certifications. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Master of Science in Nursing required. 5+ years of experience required. Active state license required. Strong teamwork, time management, communication, critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently. Physical Requirements: The work environment involves exposure to potentially dangerous materials andsituations that require following extensive safety precautions and may include the useof protective equipment. Work is performed in an interior medical/ clinical environment. Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds or standing and/or walking for more than four (4) hours per day.
