Job Title: Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) xe2x80x93 Part-TimeHours: 12-16 hours per week Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team at a medical weight loss clinic. The APRN will be responsible for providing patient care, managing treatment plans, and supporting the clinicxe2x80x99s holistic approach to weight management. This part-time position offers flexibility and an opportunity to make a significant impact in patients’ health journeys. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including reviewing medical histories and current conditions, to develop tailored weight loss plans. Prescribe and manage weight loss medications as appropriate, ensuring compliance with clinic protocols and legal guidelines. Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatments as necessary to optimize results and ensure patient safety. Provide patient education on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications to support sustainable weight loss. Collaborate with physicians, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and outcomes. Stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices in weight management and obesity treatment. Qualifications: Valid APRN license in the state of Kansas. Certification in Family Practice, Adult-Gerontology, or related specialty preferred. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a weight management, primary care, or endocrinology setting. Strong knowledge of pharmacology and medication management related to weight loss treatments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Working Conditions: Part-time position with flexible scheduling (12-16 hours per week).
