Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Psycniatric Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high-quality care to children, teens, and adults for a variety of common psychiatric disorders, including ADHD, trouble regulating strong emotions, anxiety, and depression.Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations.Develop holistic treatment plans.Manage medications and evidence-backed complementary treatments (training availalbe!).Collaborate with other providers and schools.Document patient encounters and provide additional written materials as needed (e.g. for prior authorization requests).Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.Participate in regular supervision with a senior psychiatrist.Receive additional training both in-house and through continuing medication education, paid for by me.Qualifications:Have the relevant licensure and certification to practice in New York State.Have taken or plan to take the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Across the Lifespan) Certification.Ability to build rapport with patients.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
