At Valora, we treat our patients like family and we understand that providing quality medical care and an exceptional patient experience across all our centers requires having an outstanding team.We are seeking a mid-level practitioner to join our team to provide outpatient primary care services to our senior population at our Little Elm, TX clinic!Job Summary:A Mid-Level Practitioner is responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure patient health. Their duties include speaking with Valoraxe2x80x99s patients about healthy lifestyle choices for their age, completing diagnostic tests to help diagnose and treat patients for injuries or illnesses, and coordinating with clinic staff to maintain updated medical records.A Mid-Level Practitioner may include a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Nurse Practitioner (NP), Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP), or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Evaluate, assess, and treat patientsxe2x80x99 medical conditions.Order lab and other diagnostic testing and interprets results.Maintain confidentiality and impartiality at all times.Collect, record, and maintain sensitive patient information such as examination results, medical history, and reports.Perform minor proceduresExplain procedures or prescribed treatments to patients.Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.Promote health education in conjunction with other health professionals.Meet targets set by the government for specified treatments.Discuss and evaluate new pharmaceutical products with pharmaceutical representatives.Keep up to date with medical developments, treatment, and medication.Appropriately and timely document patient encounters.Qualifications/EducationGraduate degree from an accredited nursing schoolCurrent Texas medical license and Federal DEA license (required)2+ years of clinical work experienceBilingual in English and Spanish/Hindi is a plusProficient experience using EMR system, eClinicalWorks (eCW) is a plusFantastic counseling and listening skillsSuperb organizational and time management skillsExcellent decision-making skills and communicationAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentCompassionate nature with the ability to make patients feel at easeLead by example and champion Valora’s Mission, Vision, and ValuesEEO Statement: Valora Medical Group, LLC is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, sex, national origin, age, disability, pregnancy status, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran status, marital status, genetic information, citizenship status, or other status protected by law.
