We are looking for an Advance Practice Registered Nurse to manage the clinic like a private autonomous practice. Position Summary APRN will have complete management of the clinical practice. The APRN will diagnose, treat and prescribe patients in a walk-in primary care clinic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Examine patients and diagnose health conditions and illnesses. Propose treatment plans for chronic and infectious diseases. Prescribe medications for the treatment plans Apply vaccines, perform rapid testing and collect samples to send out for laboratory testing as needed Record and keep patient information updated in the EHR system, including signed consent and release forms. Maintains confidentiality of all data and complies with all regulatory requirements. Manage clinic inventory and keep clinic in orderly and clean conditions. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) 3-5 Yearsxe2x80x99 experience as a Certified Nurse Practitioner in a clinic, hospital, ER or other clinical setting. Expertise in primary care, acute care and chronic care practices Licensure Requirements xe2x80x93 Must have open, active, and good standing FL State Advance Practice Registered Nurse License, with autonomous practice license. Background/Drug Requirements xe2x80x93 Ability to successfully completed background check, and drug screen. Experience working in Microsoft suite. (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint) Demonstrate a passion for customer service. Excellent English and Spanish communication skills. (both written and spoken) Must have knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
