Expected to be at location while on shift, generous compensation. Axel Health is a comprehensive continuum of care specialty group. By providing an achievable plan of care, our patients will be active participants in their health plan. Our multidisciplinary approach to patient care will make us the areas leader in continuum of care medicine. The physician extender will provide comprehensive health assessments, evaluation, planning and administration of quality patient care. The physician extender works under the general supervision of a designated physician within Axel Health providing a mechanism for consultation, collaboration or referral as necessary. Care is provided based on assessment and management in accordance with regulatory standards, policy and procedure, protocols and practice guidelines. The physician extender provides patient care and education based on individual patient health and cultural status. This position serves as a patient advocate for Axel Health, Englewood Healthcare and Rehabilitation, and the community. Requirements: Education: Masters Degree required. Experience: ICU or Cardiac experience preferred. Licensure: ARNP or PA license in the State of Florida.
