Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)- OB/GYN (Zephyrhills) General Description: Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) at Premier Community HealthCare Group (PCHG) provide patients with primary obstetric and gynecological care within our Womenxe2x80x99s Health Department. We strive to serve our community in establishing diagnosis and treatment, provide health promotion, disease prevention and strive for healthy pregnancies. You will perform general gynecological and obstetric surgical procedures, both diagnostic and therapeutic, using minimally invasive and traditional surgical techniques. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assure comprehensive healthcare needs are identified and treated and the people served are educated about reproductive health and given health management information and techniques. Communicates effectively with all members of the Care Team to ensure smooth handoffs and a positive patient experience. Consults and coordinates with health care providers working at any location. Works in coordination with the Quality Assurance Team and management to develop and implement a quality assurance program. Participates in a rotation for afterhours services on-call Manage daily and weekly schedule to ensure encounter targets are met and documented appropriately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Review and address tasks daily and maximize productivity. xc2xb7 Ensure confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times xc2xb7 Keep other care team members informed when situations occur that disrupts timely patient flow through site. xc2xb7 Adhere to patient care needs and the core values of Premier Community HealthCare to a provide best-in-class patient experience xc2xb7 Work towards attaining department goals and drive Quality Improvement / Quality Assurance (QI/QA) xc2xb7 Other duties as assigned Supervisory responsibilities: None Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: xc2xb7 Solid understanding of OB/GYN medicine xc2xb7 Ability to effectively evaluate and identify diagnosis xc2xb7 Identify medical history xc2xb7 Exceptional customer service skills xc2xb7 Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing with patients, care givers, and multiple levels within the organization. xc2xb7 Excellent grammar, spelling and interpersonal skills. Qualifications: xc2xb7 Masterxe2x80x99s degree in an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with a clinical specialty area of Womenxe2x80x99s Health xc2xb7 Current Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) license xc2xb7 Prefer three (3) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner xc2xb7 Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Working conditions and physical requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
