Job Duties and Responsibilities Curriculum Development: Develop and review nursing curriculum content, ensuring alignment with current evidence-based practices, regulatory standards, and educational objectives. Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lectures, seminars, and clinical instruction to undergraduate and/or graduate nursing students. Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to nursing students, fostering their professional and personal development. Research: Conduct scholarly research in nursing education, healthcare delivery, or related fields, contributing to the advancement of nursing knowledge and practice. Assessment and Evaluation: Design and implement assessment strategies to evaluate student learning outcomes and program effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for improvement. Required Education and/or Experience Doctoral Degree: Doctoral degree (Ph.D. in Nursing or DNP) from a nationally accredited institution. Current Arkansas licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Significant clinical experience in nursing practice, preferably in an advanced practice role, along with demonstrated expertise in nursing education. Prior experience teaching nursing students at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, with a strong understanding of pedagogical principles and instructional methodologies. Candidates who are ABD or who have 3 or less semesters left to complete the DNP will be considered. Candidates who are ABD for the PhD will not be considered. Preferred Education and/or Experience Doctoral degree in nursing (PhD) preferred. Licensed as or eligibility for licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) (Family Nurse Practitioner) is preferred but not required. Candidates with a well-established research agenda is preferred. Experience with learning management systems and online teaching. Experience with simulation teaching. Additional preference include educational preparation as a Nurse Educator or who have experience teaching at the baccalaureate, masterxe2x80x99s, and/or doctoral levels. License(s)/Certifications (Required or Preferred) Compact RN license in Arkansas.
