DocStar Medical Partners is looking for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Orangeburg South Carolina. 3-6 month assignment, with travel expenses included! Rates are negotiable and dependant on experience and background Facility City & State: Orangeburg, SC Facility Type: Hospital Provider Profession Needed: APP – NP Specialty: Pediatrics Start Date: 7/1/2024 End Date: Ongoing Length of Assignment: 3-6 months Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days Work Schedule: 14 days per month to start July, M-F 8-5p with call M-R 5p-8a, Sat/Sun 24 hours Patient Volume: FY22 was 553 deliveries and FY23 was 477, 2-3 deliveries a day; Only a portion of those babies will need level II care Procedures: MUSC Health has partnered with several locations to support level 1 and 2 nurseries with direct ties to physicians located in Charleston, SC. We are looking for a skilled, knowledgeable Pediatrician to help support this technology-driven well-baby nursery.xe2x80xa2 The Pediatrician position will be full time; daily in house coverage, overnight call (from home) or 30-minute response time.xe2x80xa2 Candidates must be confident and have the experience and knowledge to make decisions about patient care while relaying key information to collaborating physicians located off-site.xe2x80xa2 Must be comfortable with patients 32 weeks and above, resuscitation, CPAP, peripheral IVs, ART sticks, managing ventilators, administering pulmonary surfactant, umbilical lines, catheters, and other sick baby related procedures.
