Description: Our client in Eureka, California is in need of a locum pediatric physician assistant or nurse practitioner to provide coverage at their community clinic from April 29, 2024 – June 21, 2024. Full time need. No call. No weekends. Position: Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (Pediatrics) Contract Dates: April 29, 2024 – June 21, 2024 (allow 40 days for credentialing) Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, no call, no weekends, allowed holidays – New Years Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day Pay: $100/hr Facility: Community Clinic in Eureka, California Practice Settings/Case Load: Outpatient Clinic, Epic EMR, 18 patients per day Requirements: Active California Medical License PA’s must have California Controlled Substance Education Course Certificate NP’s must have Furnishing License with Schedules II Active DEA needed before start Valid BLS Certification 3+ years experience in similar setting The following immunizations are required for credentialing (before start date): Most Recent Flu Vaccine TB Status/X-Ray Results (results must be within the 90 days before start date) Positive MMR Titer or Complete Immunization Series Positive Hep B Titer or Complete Immunization Series Positive Varicella Zoster Titer or Complete Immunization Series Tdap Immunization (must be within the last 10 years) COVID requirement: Primary series plus booster, regardless of date received OR 1 dose of the current COVID vaccine (2023/2024 formulation)
